Where are you based?

We are based on the sunny side of Hobart, Tasmania - the Eastern Shore!

Will you travel for our wedding/would you consider capturing our destination wedding?

Um, yes. Plane, train or car, you say where, we'll be there, no matter how far (thanks Dr.Seuss). But in all seriousness, absolutely! We have packages suited specifically for you, that make choosing us for your wedding either far or wide, quite affordable. We don’t add on extra travel costs, but have worked them into our packages and require the bare minimum to cover our expenses.

We have travelled to India + Vietnam, parts of Europe and the UK and Japan is next on our list! Wanting to get hitched overseas? Call me! We may have some sneaky deals happening for those love birds who have the travel bug!

We really want you to book you, but you haven’t shot at our chosen venue. 

We totally understand your concern, but this isn’t a problem at all! We are at our best when we are in a fresh space - a fresh canvas, if you will - it really gets our creativity flowing when we get to work somewhere new. If we haven’t worked at your chosen venue before, we will often do a scouting mission prior to your big day, to suss out the best spots for photos and meet your venue manager. Rest assured a new space for us, is not a con, it’s a huge positive and can mean only new, fun and fresh photos for you!

What if we’re awkward/camera shy?

We understand that having a camera pointed in your direction can be a little daunting as you think, “what do I do with my hands?!”. It is normal to feel a little nervous at first on your wedding day, but our shooting style is relaxed, candid and fun and we love getting the feedback (especially from the groom) at the end of the day, saying how much fun they had and it was better than they expected!

We’ll point you in the right direction when needed and help you enjoy being in front of the camera, but most of the time you’ll be so captivated by your wife/husband that you’ll forget we are even there. 

Do you have any advice for us?

We have captured over 80 weddings and if you have an hour or two, we love to chat with our couples about what we have learned along the way! But even better, once we’ve locked you in, we have a wedding guide that has tips, tricks and suggestions on timelines, family photos, getting ready spaces and more!

We also don’t think of ourselves as just your photographers - we’re your BFF’s with a window into the wedding industry, we love when our couples ask questions, want to catch up for a drink and chat and we are so here to help you where we can.

Can you recommend vendors?

Absolutely! As photographers/ videographers, we’re so lucky to get to work with vendors from across a wedding day. From MUA + Hair Stylists, to catering companies, to celebrants, DJ’s and of course the venue itself! After something specific or would like to know what we think? Let’s chat!

Do you offer albums?

Yes we do! But even better you can order an album directly from the online gallery you are provided with after your wedding day. Pick your favourite photos, how many pages you’d like and choose your own style and material and your album will be delivered directly to your door! (This goes for prints, frames and other photo gifts too!)

If you are looking for something a little more artful and handcrafted, let us know, we would love to piece together a beautiful album for you with a gorgeous embossed leather cover.

How long does it take to receive photos/film after the wedding?

Photos: We will send you through your ‘sneak peeks’ a few days after your wedding, with your full gallery being completed between 5-6 weeks later. During peak season the delivery times can be closer to 8-10 weeks, but please know that the reason for any delay is because we want your photos to be perfect! Editing can be a lengthy process and we will never deliver a product that is any less than 110% our best. We thank all of our couples for trusting us to capture and then deliver a carefully crafted photo gallery that reflects the natural beauty of your wedding day.

Film: We will deliver your complete film 8-12 weeks after your wedding day. We don’t offer teasers as this often means creating a separate product and can mess with the flow of creating a film that we feels reflects the vibe of your day. As mentioned above, our goal is quality over quick turnaround and we invest our very best into your captured memories.

Do we need to provide you with a list of the photos we want?

The only shot list that is really helpful, is your family shot list! This way we can call out to Aunty Jan + Uncle Steve when it’s time for their photo with the newly weds. Any other shot list isn’t necessary and can sometimes hinder our creativity. We capture all of the big and important moments of your day, and some many little moments and hidden details that you won’t even be aware of. Our role on your wedding day is to document real life moments and be detail oriented and artful. Trust us, we won’t miss a thing!

In saying this - if there is something out of the ordinary, someone really important or a surprise that is planned. I.e. Your grandma designed stamps for your invitation (seriously had this happen, so cute!), you organized a surprise Saxophonist to appear in the band for your new husband (also had this happen!), or a photo with one of your guests is crucial, please tell us. We’re pretty clever but not mind readers.

If you are capturing our reception, should we organise dinner for you?

Yes please. We appreciate this! It is a long day for you, and therefore a long day for us too and some canapes or a hot meal during the reception really gives a good energy boost to continue snapping away and capturing all the fun at your reception.
